Bed linen prices in Morocco: real ranges and honest maths (2026)

Maison Linéa guide · updated 2 September 2026

In Morocco in 2026, a decent 160×200 fitted sheet costs 120 to 250 MAD, a flat sheet 100 to 250 MAD, a duvet cover 200 to 450 MAD, a full set 400 to 900 MAD. Compare price per wash, not per piece: a 199 MAD hotel sheet is cheaper than a 90 MAD sheet lasting a third as long.

The price table, piece by piece (September 2026)

Ranges observed across the Moroccan market — souks and kissariats, supermarkets, e-commerce — set against our own public prices (right-hand column, VAT incl., direct from our Marrakech workshop). The low ends correspond to light qualities (loose weaves, microfibre); the high ends to decorative home-linen boutiques.

The only calculation that matters: price per wash

Two 160 fitted sheets sit in a shop window: one at 90 MAD, the other at 199 MAD. Is the first one really cheaper? Divide by lifespan:

Real lifespan (60°C washes)60-80 cycles150-200 cycles
Price per wash1.1-1.5 MAD1.0-1.3 MAD

At equal or better price per wash, the hotel sheet adds what the bargain price never will: a white you can rescue with percarbonate, a 30 cm deep pocket that holds thick mattresses, and identical restocking. For a professional running 20 beds, this calculation decides thousands of dirhams a year — it is the central argument of our hotel linen page.

Packs mechanically undercut per-piece prices (savings of 8 to 540 MAD shown on every pack page), and the trade tier grid (−5% from 5 pieces, −8% from 10, −12% from 20) applies per reference for professionals.

Why such price gaps between channels?

  • Raw material: a dense 50/50 percale polycotton costs 2 to 3 times the per-metre price of polyester microfibre — the gap carries straight through to the piece;
  • Making: full all-around elastic, stitched hems and calender-proof finishes versus corner-only elastic and minimal overlocking;
  • Middlemen: imports pass through 2-3 hands before reaching the shop; direct-from-workshop has none — that is our model, and what puts our prices below the boutiques at higher quality;
  • The invoice: the informal channel doesn't invoice — a face-value price advantage, but no recoverable VAT and no deductible expense for a registered professional;
  • Service: COD delivery, size exchange, guaranteed restock — included with us, non-existent at the souk.

How to pay the fair price (buyer's checklist)

  • Demand the composition in writing (50% cotton/50% polyester, 100% cotton…) and the weave density — the thread count guide decodes the numbers;
  • Check the pocket depth in cm against your mattress thickness — not 'deep pocket', an actual number;
  • Compare on price per wash, not the sticker price;
  • Prefer cash on delivery: you judge the fabric in hand before paying;
  • For professionals: a systematic ICE invoice and verifiable public prices — a supplier who hides his prices is hiding your budget.

One last bearing: these ranges date from September 2026 and will be updated. The Maison Linéa prices in this guide are the public ones from the product pages — if they ever differ, the product page prevails.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a bed sheet cost in Morocco?

Depending on channel and quality: 40 to 140 MAD at the souk (quality not guaranteed), 80 to 280 MAD in supermarkets, 120 to 400 MAD in boutiques or online. In verifiable hotel quality, expect 129-219 MAD for a 30 cm deep-pocket fitted sheet and 149-209 MAD for a flat sheet — our public prices, VAT incl.

How much is a complete bedding set in Morocco?

From 250 MAD (souk, unpredictable quality) to over 1,000 MAD in boutiques. In hotel quality, a complete set for a 160 bed (fitted sheet, flat sheet, 2 pillowcases) costs 479 MAD as a pack with us, and a set with duvet cover 649-679 MAD depending on size.

Why is hotel linen more expensive to buy?

Denser fabric (50/50 percale versus microfibre), reinforced making and no compromise on finishes. But set against its lifespan (150-200 washes versus 60-80), it is cheaper per night of use — that is the price-per-wash calculation.

Are prices negotiable in bulk?

Our tier grid is public: −5% from 5 pieces, −8% from 10, −12% from 20 per reference. Beyond 50 pieces, the trade quote adjusts to volume with a deposit and an ICE invoice — see the trade area.
