White Pillowcases, Hotel Finish

The pillowcase is the hardest-working piece on the bed: in direct contact with the face, it stains (make-up, skincare, perspiration) and gets washed more often than anything else. It is also the cheapest to replace — provided you can find the same white again. Our 70×50 pillowcases are cut from the same 50/50 percale as our sheets: rebuy them singly in a year and they will still match your sets.

The envelope closure (internal flap) holds the pillow without buttons or zips: nothing to break in a pressing machine, nothing to scratch a cheek — the hotel standard.

How many pillowcases to plan for

• Double bed: 4 minimum — 2 in use, 2 spare. A pillowcase is ideally changed weekly, more often in summer.
• Short-term rental: 3 per pillow (one on, one in the wash, one in reserve), just like the sheet sets.

The right care reflex

White pillowcases wash at 60°C and take hot stain treatment safely: treat make-up and skincare marks before washing (stain soap or oxygen whitener), and avoid routine chlorine bleach, which yellows fibres over time.
