The 160×200 — roughly a Queen — is Morocco’s standard bed: master bedrooms, riad rooms and most vacation rentals run on it. This fitted sheet is our best-selling reference and the one we have refined the most: a 30 cm deep pocket for thick mattresses, elastic that survives changeover after changeover, and a stable white you can reorder identically at any time.
Why it works
- It stays on the bed: the classic problem with 160 sheets in Morocco is thick mattresses ejecting shallow pockets. A 30 cm pocket wraps mattresses up to ~27 cm — the sheet is still taut in the morning.
- Hotel quality you can verify: 50/50 polycotton percale, with the composition stated in writing — not “cotton” in the headline and polyester on the label.
- Built to last: roughly twice as many wash cycles as consumer-grade cotton. If you run a rental, think cost per wash, not purchase price.

Caring for white
Wash at 40-60°C, treat stains before washing, an oxygen-based whitener (sodium percarbonate) monthly under heavy use, chlorine bleach only as an exception. Line-dried taut, it barely needs ironing — a quick pass on the visible fold is enough for the hotel look.

Why did my old 160 fitted sheet keep popping off the corners?
Almost always the pocket depth: standard retail sheets have 20-25 cm pockets, too shallow for the thick 25-27 cm mattresses common in Morocco. Our 30 cm deep pocket wraps the mattress fully — the sheet stays put.
Is the price really final?
Yes: 199 MAD including 20% Moroccan VAT — exactly what you hand the courier. Be careful when comparing: many hotel-linen suppliers here quote ex-VAT prices, with 20% added on the invoice.
