Guesthouse linen: the allocation that passes inspection — and the seasons
Morocco has more than a thousand official guesthouses — 750 to 1,300 in Marrakech alone — and their overnight stays jumped 85% between 2019 and 2023. Behind that success sits one requirement: classification imposes a bedding standard, and guesthouse guests compare their room to a hotel's, not to an apartment's.
Our range answers the manager's two constraints: a standardised per-room allocation (linen you can count, mark and inventory) and a white that reproduces order after order, with the ICE invoice your bookkeeping demands.
Your linen problems, our answers
The classification inspection that looks at the bedding
The guesthouse standard grades the state and quality of the linen. A homogeneous stock — white, no pilling, no grey veil — presents itself without stress, and renews by thirds each year rather than in a panic before the visit.
A stock that depreciates every season
Between the laundry, sunny terraces and hard water, a guesthouse typically replaces 20 to 30% of its linen a year. Think in cost per wash: a 149 MAD hotel sheet that takes 180 cycles costs under 1 MAD a night — half the cost of a 'cheap' sheet that dies at 60 washes.
Pieces that vanish or lose their match
Homogeneous lots easy to count, one reference per size, identical restock: your housekeeper inventories in minutes, and a lost pillowcase is replaced without creating a second white in the house.
Terrace breakfast, pool, hammam
A guesthouse uses more bath linen than an urban hotel: pool towels, hammam foutas, brunch guests. Plan 4 towels at 550 g per room per rotation, plus a shared buffer of one third.
The standardised allocation per guest room
The rule: Per room: 3 complete sets (30 cm deep-pocket fitted sheet, flat sheet, 2 pillowcases) + 4 towels 70×140 + 1 bath mat. Mattress protector recommended (see made-to-measure for special formats).

- Cost per wash, not price per piece — the argument wholesalers never present: over its real lifespan, hotel linen costs less than 'cheap' linen.
- Sample before volume — Starter Set at 279 MAD delivered COD, or a workshop visit in Marrakech: nobody commits 10,000 MAD without having touched the fabric.
- Public tiered pricing — −5% from 5 pieces, −8% from 10, −12% from 20 per reference; beyond 50 pieces, a trade quote within 24 h with ICE invoice.
Case in point: a 4-room guesthouse renewing before high season
Renewing a third of the stock in September: 4 fitted sheets 160 (−5% tier: 756 MAD), 8 pillowcases (376 MAD), 8 towels 550 g (872 MAD) = ~2,000 MAD to enter October — Marrakech's 82%-occupancy month — with an impeccable stock.
Frequently asked questions
How much linen for a 5-room guesthouse?
Base: 15 complete bed sets (3 per room), 20 towels 550 g, 5 bath mats, plus a shared buffer of 2 sets and 6 pillowcases. If laundry is outsourced, the buffer rises to one set per room. The calculator details it for your bed sizes.
Do you offer trade rates for guesthouses?
Yes: the tiered grid applies automatically per reference (−5% from 5 pieces, −8% from 10, −12% from 20), and full allocations move to a trade quote with extra discount, deposit and ICE invoice.
How do we renew without rebuying everything at once?
Renew by thirds, twice a year, ahead of the high seasons (February-March and August-September): the standard hotel rhythm. Identical restock guarantees the new pieces blend into the existing stock.
Is the linen delivered everywhere in Morocco?
Yes — 24-48 h in Marrakech with our own delivery, 48-72 h elsewhere via Amana/Cathedis, cash on delivery or bank transfer on trade quotes. Guesthouses in Essaouira, Fès and Marrakech have dedicated city pages.
